What is Helichrysum Essential Oil?
The essential oil of Helichrysum is extracted from the golden yellow-colored flowers and leaves of the Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum)plant. For centuries, Helichrysum has been used as an exotic spicy scent in perfumery and as a traditional medicine in the Mediterranean, Italy, Spain, Bosnia and other parts of Europe.
Helichrysum essential oil is also known by the name of ‘Immortelle’ (meaning ‘Everlasting’) and is very useful in calming and healing skin problems in a gentle, but effective way.
