Every ingredient we use has it’s own Unique story

Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis):
Like so many of our Clinically proven Botanical Active Ingredients, ALOE VERA dates back to Ancient times. The ancient Egyptians called it the “Plant of Immortality” Aloe is actually a cactus plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. Growing in dry climates, it has been used medicinally for centuries. Like almost every ingredient we use, Aloe Vera is a potent Anti-Oxidant, as well as Anti-Inflammatory and has Anti-Bacterial properties as well.
Aloe Vera also contains an abundance of vitamins including vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, and E. With the vitamins come minerals as well, with calcium, iron, potassium, copper, manganese, selenium, sodium, chromium, and many more are naturally found in the Aloe Vera plant.
Aloe vera gel contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. These 2 hormones facilitate wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Gibberellin in aloe vera stimulates the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring.
What is an Anti-Oxidant?
Antioxidants are just what the name implies, ie; they help reverse, slow down or prevent cellular oxidation. We call this cellular “rust,” as oxidation is what causes the breakdown/decomposition of everything on the earth.. even something as impervious as iron to degrade and break down over time.
Imagine what oxidation can do to your skin and hair… Actually, you don’t have to imagine, the evidence for the ravages of the aging process is all around us.. Fortunately, prevention and real change IS possible!
